Learning Events

Whenever NID is commissioned to design training materials, we customize these to the local contexts and develop materials that combine participatory learning methodologies with critical thinking and design approaches. A list of training materials publicly available are provided below.

NID places high value on building capacity at local levels through facilitating exchange of information, advice, knowledge and skills. We design and develop training materials, modules and advocacy materials customized for the learning environment. Our methodology is highly participatory, where possible we prefer to adapt learning materials with local partners to suit their needs. We have facilitated day-long training sessions for senior management and policy makers, and week-long learning programs for field staff, farming communities and advocacy groups.
